In this project, I was tasked with creating a set of promotional materials that raised awareness to an issue that was important to me: the danger of concussions. The materials focused on using design with various mediums (such as spot varnishes and vellum covers). The campaign was based upon the idea that concussions are hard to detect.
Within our world, there are calls to action about various issues that we see everyday, many of which we pass over. With this project, I wanted to raise awareness in a way that didn’t seem cliche or overdone. Instead, I wanted to provide an element of the materials that was surprising and engaged the viewer, rather than allowing them to pass on by.
